## Overview

Topograph reads Ontario Business Registry (ServiceOntario) and returns the company profile of Canada (Ontario) companies through one API.

> **`CA-ON` covers corporations incorporated in Ontario.** In Canada a company is incorporated either federally or in one province or territory, and each keeps its own register. `CA` on its own is not a jurisdiction.

> A federal corporation that registers in Ontario to do business there is a [Canada (Federal)](https://www.topograph.co/countries/ca-fed) company: use `countryCode: "CA-FED"` and its corporation number. `CA-ON` search does not return it, and its Ontario record, when asked for by Ontario Corporation Number, is flagged as an extra-provincial registration.

## Identifiers
