# Faroe Islands

## Overview

Topograph reads Faroese Company Register (Skráseting Føroya) and returns the company profile and legal representatives of Faroe Islands companies through one API.

Faroese companies are registered with **Skráseting Føroya**, the company register of the Faroe Islands, separate from the Danish CVR. Search it by registration number or name, then request the company profile: the company and its board and management come from the registration extract the register issues on the day, and the same extract is available as a PDF.

Each record holds the name and secondary names, the address and municipality, the board and management, the share capital, the purpose, the signing rules, the dates of the annual accounts received and, once a company winds up, its status.

## Identifiers

Request a company by its Registration number (Skrásetingarnummar) as the `id`, with `countryCode` set to `FO`. Its format, validation rules and an example value are in the full reference.
