Topograph reads gBizINFO government corporate-data publication and National Tax Agency corporate-number register and returns the company profile of Japan companies through one API.

The registers this country’s data comes from. Secondary sources only enrich or check what the registers return.

- **[gBizINFO government corporate-data publication](https://info.gbiz.go.jp/)**: Government aggregation of published corporate data, including EDINET capital, workplace information and selected annual securities reports. Field coverage and originating publication dates vary. It is not the commercial register.
- **[National Tax Agency corporate-number register](https://www.houjin-bangou.nta.go.jp/)**: Official publication of corporate numbers, registered names and addresses, with published name/address changes and closure information. This is basic identity information, distinct from the Ministry of Justice commercial register.

## Identifiers

Request a company by its Corporate Number (法人番号, Hōjin Bangō) as the `id`, with `countryCode` set to `JP`. Its format, validation rules and an example value are in the full reference.
