# Moldova

Company data from the Moldova business register, through the Topograph API.

## Overview

Topograph reads ASP State Register (Open Data) and returns the company profile, legal representatives, other key persons and shareholders of Moldova companies through one API.

> **Warning**
> **Moldova is prefill-only.** Every request must pass `"mode": "prefill"`. The country is served from a non-authoritative source, so there is no lane for `verification` (which is what `/v2/company` uses when you omit `mode`). A request without it comes back with the datapoint failed and the error code `authoritative_source_unavailable`. See [Modes](https://docs.topograph.co/essentials/modes).

### Speed

A company profile typically comes back from the register in 1 s in prefill mode. These are typical observations, not a service-level commitment: set your timeouts well above them.
