# Montenegro

## Overview

Topograph reads Montenegrin Central Register of Business Entities (CRPS) and returns the company profile, legal representatives, other key persons, shareholders and establishments of Montenegro companies through one API.

Montenegro keeps its companies, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, institutions and the parts of foreign companies in one register, the CRPS (Central Register of Business and Other Entities), kept by the Tax Administration. Every entity is identified by its PIB, its tax identification number, which for a legal entity is also its registration number with the statistical office. Search by PIB, registration number or name, then request the datapoints with the PIB.

- **[Montenegrin Central Register of Business Entities (CRPS)](https://irms.tax.gov.me/public/search-register/business-entities)**: The Central Register of Business and Other Entities, kept by the Tax Administration of Montenegro under the Law on the Registration of Business and Other Entities (Official Gazette 92/2025) and published on its IRMS portal. It covers companies, partnerships, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, institutions, non-governmental organisations with an economic activity and the parts of foreign companies. Each record holds the PIB, registration number, name, legal form, registration date, capital, main activity, address, status, the persons in the entity with their function, founders or members with their share, and places of business.

## Identifiers

Request a company by its PIB (Poreski identifikacioni broj) as the `id`, with `countryCode` set to `ME`. Its format, validation rules and an example value are in the full reference.
