Covers every domestic and foreign entity registered under Title 12 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes: for-profit and nonprofit corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and limited partnerships, trade names and trademarks, name reservations, and prior-name records. Each entity is assigned a Charter Number of 8 digits followed by one letter (e.g. 29504510F, 36528934K) that serves as the primary identifier across every register lookup. Search and company profile are served live from the Louisiana Secretary of State Commercial register service, which returns authoritative status (Active / Inactive with the inactivation reason), the officer roster (titles as filed: President, Director, Vice-President, Secretary, Officer, Member, Manager), registered agent(s) with their address, and one entity address chosen from the address types Louisiana publishes (Domicile, Mailing, Principal Business Office, Registered Office in Louisiana, Principal Business Establishment in Louisiana).
