- **[Maryland Business Express, SDAT Business Entity Search](https://egov.maryland.gov/BusinessExpress/EntitySearch)**: Official Maryland business entity register maintained by the State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT) and served via the Maryland Business Express portal. The public entity-detail page returns the SDAT Department ID, legal name, principal office address, resident agent name and address, current entity status and good-standing flag, business type and code, formation/registration date, state of formation, stock and close-corporation classifications, mailing address, and the entity's filing history. Officer rosters, shareholder lists, and certified copies of filings are not part of the anonymous public surface and require either a Maryland Business Express user account or a per-document order.
