Covers domestic and foreign business corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, and nonprofit corporations. Each entity carries a Charter Number of 8 or 9 digits followed by a one- or two-letter entity-type suffix. The public Information Corporate Registry System (ICRS) exposes the legal name, charter number, filing type, status, filing or qualification date, jurisdiction, assumed and former names, the principal home office address, and the clerk or registered agent name and address. Maine does not publish corporate officers, directors, shareholders, or beneficial owners. Bulk data is sold separately by the state portal administrator; all reads here are live against the ICRS portal.
