Covers ~4.2M active entities (corporations, LLCs, LPs, LLPs, not-for-profits). Its Public Inquiry portal is the live register, with fields such as authorized stock, the next biennial statement due date, and separate service-of-process, registered-agent and executive addresses. The Department also publishes the same database as NYS Open Data, refreshed daily, which serves company data, company search and former-name matching.
