A company profile typically comes back from the register in 1 s in prefill mode and 30 s in verification mode. These are typical observations, not a service-level commitment: set your timeouts well above them.

Two channels are used: (1) the public Business Search at businesssearch.ohiosos.gov, read live for the entity profile, the statutory agent, prior names and the filing list; (2) the monthly Business Reports, published on the second Saturday of each month, covering new business filings and subsequent filings (mergers, dissolutions, cancellations, reinstatements and amendments).
