- **[Vermont Secretary of State](https://bizfilings.vermont.gov/business/businesssearch)**: Official Vermont state business entity register maintained by the Secretary of State's Business Services Division. The portal at bizfilings.vermont.gov publishes every domestic and foreign for-profit corporation, nonprofit corporation, limited liability company, limited partnership, mutual benefit enterprise, cooperative association, partnership, limited liability partnership, unincorporated nonprofit association, plus assumed names, reserved names, and registered names. Each entity is assigned a Record Number (a 6-digit zero-padded integer, e.g. 074657) and an internal UUID. The register exposes legal name, entity type (across 18 types), current status (Active in good or not in good standing, Inactive with a reason such as Voluntarily Dissolved, Administratively Terminated, Withdrawn, Cancelled, Cessated, Dissolved, Merged, Revoked or Expired, Pending, and others), date of incorporation, effective and termination dates, last and next annual-report due dates, fiscal-year month, physical and mailing addresses, partnership physical and mailing addresses, the officers, directors, members and managers with their titles (including a free-text title), the business organizers, the registered agent (name plus physical and mailing addresses, with a commercial registered agent flag), NAICS activity codes, and the complete filing-history timeline (annual reports, articles of amendment, bulk registered-agent changes, administrative terminations, and others). The register's public data service returns only the metadata of filing-image PDFs, not the files.
