BetaCompany data from the New Zealand business register, through the Topograph API.
Topograph reads New Zealand Business Number register and New Zealand Companies Office and returns the company profile, legal representatives, other key persons and shareholders of New Zealand companies through one API.
What comes back for each datapoint and document, as on the coverage matrix.
Requests run in prefill mode (fast) or verification mode (the authoritative register answer).
The registers this country’s data comes from. Secondary sources only enrich or check what the registers return.
The New Zealand Business Number register, kept by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, holds every entity registered with the Companies Office (companies, overseas companies, limited partnerships, incorporated societies, charitable trusts and the smaller statutory forms) together with the sole traders, partnerships and trusts that applied for a number: names and trading names, status, addresses, directors and other roles with their history, and the share register of companies.
The Companies Office, part of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, keeps the New Zealand companies register and issues the Company Extract, the Certificate of Incorporation and the documents filed by a company: annual returns, financial statements, constitutions, director and shareholder particulars.
Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation – Legal Entity Identifier reference data
