Covers every domestic and foreign entity registered under the NC General Statutes: business corporations (Ch. 55), nonprofit corporations (Ch. 55A), professional corporations (Ch. 55B), limited liability companies including LLCs, PLLCs, and L3Cs (Ch. 57D), partnerships and LLPs (Ch. 59), plus banking, insurance, cooperative, and public-authority forms under chapters 53C, 54, 54B, 54C, 58, 117, and 160A. Data is queried live from the NC SOS portal (sosnc.gov) and is authoritative, updated as filings are processed.
