BetaCompany data from the Albania business register, through the Topograph API.
Topograph reads Albanian Commercial Register (QKB) and Albanian Register of Beneficial Owners (QKB) and returns the company profile, legal representatives, other key persons, shareholders, ultimate beneficial owners and establishments of Albania companies through one API.
Albania keeps its companies and its beneficial owners at one institution, QKB (Qendra Kombëtare e Biznesit, the National Business Center). Every entity is identified by its NIPT, the same number the tax administration uses. Search by NIPT or by name, then request the datapoints with the NIPT.
What comes back for each datapoint and document, as on the coverage matrix.
Requests run in prefill mode (fast) or verification mode (the authoritative register answer).

The commercial register kept by QKB, the National Business Center, under Law 9723/2007 on business registration. It covers companies, partnerships, sole traders, agricultural cooperation companies and the branches and representative offices of foreign companies. Each record holds the NIPT, name, trade name, legal form, registration and founding dates, seat, capital, object of activity, administrators and board, authorised accounting experts, partners or shareholders, other places of business and status.
The register of beneficial owners kept by QKB under Law 112/2020. Every entity on the commercial register except sole traders declares its beneficial owners: name, nationality, month and year of birth, type of control, the date they became a beneficial owner, the ownership percentage, and, for indirect ownership, the legal persons it runs through.
Request a company by its NIPT / NUIS as the id, with countryCode set to AL. Its format, validation rules and an example value are in the full reference.
The full reference covers how each datapoint is sourced and mapped, the vocabularies the API returns, the documents you can order and exact example responses. It is free with a Topograph account.
